Stayed at the Bridge View Motel for one night with my husband. You know what you're going to get at a Best Western, they have to have a basic standard to be part of the franchise.
The bed was firm but comfortable (I tend to prefer softer mattresses but this one wasn't too hard for me). The room was quietly decorated, quite traditional, and comfortable. Some would call the decor dated, but hey, you get what you pay for and if you wan't brand spanking new then this wouldn't be the place for you.
Everything was very clean and presented as it should be. The little garden area was very well maintained and the pool looked clean (didn't use it).
The breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning and was perfectly cooked - lovely! The management were very courteous and helpful, nice people!
Only one little gripe really and that was the noise of the antiquated air conditioner. Couldn't sleep with it running so was grateful that it wasn't the height of summer and we could wrap ourselves in blankets in bed.
If we are heading up that way again and need an overnighter, then I'd be happy to go back as long as the temperature wasn't in the upper 30's.
