Stayed at Cambridge due to the other half visiting for the weekend.

The Cambridge has a four star silver award rating and rightly so. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. It wasn't en-suite but it was just outside the bedroom & was private. Other rooms are en-suite, we booked last miniute so not complaining. The room itself was clean & well presented and everything you'd need; TV with iPod docking station, radio alarm clock, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, TV with DVD etc etc

The price of the room was £65 per night which included a full cooked breakfast which is cooked & served in the large kitchen by Milton, the owner.


We were made to feel very welcome, this B & B has a very nice feel about it. Guests do have use of the lounge to chill out in/watch tv etc. Cambridge house is equipped with wifi which is free to use should you wish. Our room was on the small side but wasn't a major issue due to us only really sleeping/changing then going out etc.

Service was very good, rooms were comfortable with TV,DVD Ipod docking.
Locally everything was available from food to drinks.
Owner with excellent information on every aspect of Torpoint and surrounding areas.
I liked the it was a No Smoking B & B.

My husband and I were so delighted to have found this location when attending a family wedding within the area. The room was immaculately clean and well equiped. The bathroom is a little small but the shower worked really well and both my 6 foot 4 inch husband and and myself at 6 foot tall managed to shower without issue. The bed was comfortable and the sheets very clean and fresh with well thought out decor and furnishings. The breakfast was out of this world with lots of choices of food fresh cooked to ensure your wishes were met.
This family guest house is exeptional and the family running it make certain that you are made to feel very welcome without any unnecessary intrusions. WELL DONE! Highly recommended.

I spent ten days here in two different rooms, one of which was very cramped.
The rooms were clean, tidy and presentable.
The breakfast was ok
The Cambridge House is alright for what you pay, god clean rooms but nothing special
