Lovely long weekend at this B & B, decor a bit unusual but spotless and very friendly owners Clive & Alicia made it a memorable stay. The breakfasts were very good - especially Clive's French toast!
Gallen-Treath is well placed in the little village i.e. walking distance to the pub!
Great place for a break , although the village is quite remote, lot of very narrow winding lanes to negotiate .

I had been walking the South West Coast Path and had walked for 12 hours in the rain and couldn't face another night in my tent. I luckily found this B&B. Very friendly and welcoming staff, rooms and B&B style are 'quirky' and to be honest need an entire overhaul but everything is clean and sufficient. Location is great, excellent views. Breaksat was fit for a king, all freshly prepared and cooked to order. Briliant!! And it kept coming! A great gem and EXCELLENT value

Lovely, quiet location coupled with the best breakfasts that would put some 5 star hotels to shame. We have coming for years and Clive and Alicia always make us feel welcome and comfortable heck Clive even gave us a lift to a restaurant for Valentines day and gave us a lift back so we could have a drink.

A really nice Guest House in the little village of Porthallow. The owners Clive and Alicia seemed to do their best to make our stay enjoyable and they certainly succeeded!!! Indeed they have a great location, close to the Coastal Path with views out to sea and the countryside.
