Such a warm and friendly welcome, even though our hosts were having to rush out to a function, we felt right at home because of their relaxed and engaging manner. Sourced through the farmstay organisation, this was a last minute booking as our journey was one of meandering rather than planning, and we ended up totally delighted that our phone call resulted in a very friendly yes.
We found it extremely refreshing that as a farmstay, it was actually on a working farm, as unfortunately it is not always the case. As farmers in Oz, it is always fascinating for us to see how farms operate in a different part of the world. Stephanie and Mervyn were generous with their time, and we shared many laughs and lots of talking. A delightful couple and deservedly proud of their family and accomplishments in the farming community.
Our large and well appointed room was just SO comfortable, the bed divine, and the best breakfast you could hope for..!!! 2 nights was not long enough, but hopefully another opportunity one day . . . . .
