“A very friendly and comfortable B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

We stayed here at the end of September when the crowds had gone & we could enjoy a relaxing time & some good surf. The guys that run Seavista are so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast's were great, lovely to find somewhere that does smoothies too! We liked our room (4) very much as the views were fantastic looking over the beach. Mawgan Porth is lovely, and we had fantastic food at The Traveller's Rest pub up the road & The Park down in the village, both recommended to us and definitely worth a visit! We'll be back next year for sure!

Room Tip: 4, if you want a seaview!

“A good choice to explore all of Cornwall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

Came across this little gem quite randomly when searching to stay in the area so was a bit weary of what to expect, but needn't have been as it was a nice little place with great views. Mawgan Porth has a lovely beach. Sea view room was a bit 'cosy' but clean and comfortable, tea making facilities (and biscuits!) provided as were little bottles of shampoo and shower gel. The small wall mounted flat screen tv with built-in dvd player was handy. Only niggles would be that the walls are a bit thin so could hear talking next door a few times, and the shower room only has shutter type doors.. so make sure you are staying with someone you are familiar with!!
Breakfast was lovely - as much juice, tea/coffee, toast and cereal as you want and the smoothies were yum! No beans with the full English but expect the hosts would've accommodated this if we'd asked as they were very friendly! Kate was more than happy to suggest places to visit and eat - we recommend the Travellers Rest, walkable up the hill in Trevarrian, for huge portions of delicious pub food. Don't forget a torch for walking back!

“This hotel ticks all the boxes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Marvellous views, welcoming and helpful hosts, clean and beautifull decorated bedrooms and finally a prompt , tasty and plentiful breakfast.Honesty bar a briiliant idea as was the guinness gadget. Seavista is a great place to stay while you explore Cornwall-all attractions are in easy reach by car. This little gem definitely ticks all the boxes.

Room Tip: ask or a sea view

“An fine stay in Mawgan Porth”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

A friendly B&B in a pretty location with a cup of tea and piece of cake upon arrival. The room was fairly basic (with wood-chip on the wall and in need of a proper bathroom door!) but was clean and comfortable. A filling breakfast with good mushrooms and fast service. All in all a decent stay.

Room Tip: We had a value double room which was decent for the price but would be reluctant to pay a higher pri...

“Lovely small hotel in fantastic location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

Seavista really does have a sea vista - beautiful views of Mawgan Porth bay from the lounge and breakfast room, and even the rooms that don't have a sea view look out onto lovely countryside. Kate, Ozzie, Carol and all the staff were always available and extremely helpful without ever being intrusive. Added extras, such as a lift to a local restaurant and DVDs to borrow, were really appreciated. Breakfast was probably the best we have ever had in a hotel or B&B - consistently excellent and served promptly by staff who were always smiling. We were made to feel very at home, comfortable and relaxed and would definitely go back.
