An excellent quite well maintained camping ground for tents, caravans and tourers. Set almost in the middle of Bodmin Moor just off the A30. The food is excellent ,portions are huge, the menu caters for all tastes and the price is good. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run site. Dogs are welcome and there are dog walking areas. Where it is situated gives easy access to other local attractions, Jamacia Inn. walking on Bodmin Moor, climb the highest mountain in Cornwall, Brown Willey or drive further into Cornwall to other attractions. The Eden Project is quite near as is Tintagel Castle and sandy beaches.
This site is the best we have visited for quite camping but within easy reach of historical sites and good beaches.
You get the best of both worlds on holiday and we would certainly recommend Colliford Tavern to anyone who is in Cornwall. Would we revisit?. A resoundng yes time and time again.
Many thanks to Pete and his family for making us feel at home and the excellent service we received
