“In 2001 I booked a caravan here and have been back every year since”

This site is a family favourite I made the mistake of not booking for 2012 and the family are not talking to me so have got to call them in the new year. I have been going here since seeing an advert in a national newspaper in 2001 and quite simply stumbled on a gold mine I have had many experiences here and my family have grown up on holidays here my son was 18 months on first trip and has learned to swim ride his bike and made good friends whilst there he is now 12 My twins first came with us in 2005 this is when we stayed in wolf quite simply the best uk holiday we have ever had

Others on this site have mentioned the trip to the beach being too much wel being the veteran as I am I can agree that it is quite a climb but well worth the effort you don't go to the beach for 20 mins you plan it for a day if it was easier I can promise you it would be a lot busier the beach is huge and you can get yourself quite a nice space take a picnic and relax. There are life guards on the beach who are always polite and have safety in mind

The caravans are lovely the sea views are fantastic advice would be to bear in mind as with all things in life the bigger the van the more you will pay and the more you pay the better the view if a sea view is wanted then pay that little bit more if the sea view not important then pay less and still have a lovely clean comfortable van with parking next to each caravan it makes it just different than other sites

Pendeen is a lovely house in the centre of the site I have stayed here 3 times and the space inside is just un believable. Wolf I stayed in just the once simply because It was booked when I wanted to go as very popular but again clean spacious and the best views of the entire bay bedrooms are downstairs so you get the views when watching tv eating or just relaxing on the balcony

Due to the size of my family And changes in lifestyle I now take my tourer on site and have done since 2008 it is just the same holiday but with a few more home comforts the point being no matter what the accommodation you go for the site is the same Pool. Bars. Beach entertainment friendly service

I hope this review is of help to you

Room Tip: Never stayed in chalets as too far from beach and not a general fan of them however touring is fanta...

What a lovely place. lively lots of entertainment in the evening. Really enjoyed this holiday we spent 2 weeks here with our 3 children we spent a fortune, but have to say enjoyed every moment. We camped here, and it was our first time camping and found the experience pretty good. the fresh water was close and the toilets and showers. the site was very clean and the beach is so beautiful it's as if we were abroad would recommend and will defiantly go back again.

last year we stayed at the haven park, and found we loved the area but were hugely disappointed with the site and facilitys. So for this year our three families decided to try st ives bay and we were not disappointed, first rate staff, three clean and comfy chalets .what with five boys, two girls and six adults the beach, swimming pool and clubs were well used. the shop was well stocked and keenly priced. st ives and the surrounding area provided plenty of offsite entertainment (ghost walk great) st michaels mount ,truro, the lizard point for a great walk and good food in the village. Will be returning next year with the whole clan hoping for another great time

“Very nice, value for money, and in a good position”

The park as a whole is large, but they are 5-15 minutes away from a beach that is rather empty depending on where your house is, the people are welcoming and knowledgeable, and also helpful. You will have to drive into St. Ives, or get the train (which you have to drive to) though, but that wasn't too much of a problem. The chalets were in good condition, and very nice, with close by parking. It is close to a lot of attractions, and I would recommend it.

Room Tip: More expensive rooms are closer to the beach, but even our cheapest chalet was only 10 minutes away...

Lovely park. Worth paying extra for decking if you choose a van with a sea view, we didnt but definitely would if we went again as the views were fantastic. Caravan was cleaner than when we,ve stayed in a nearby competitors site. Sands bar was good as no kids are allowed in , but there is a beer garden and large eating area within that part of the complex if you have got children Staff at reception very welcoming and efficient.. Would choose this park again over others in that area
