Clean, surprisingly modern looking, all the facilities I needed, helpful.

We have stayed at Lower Meadows twice in two years and Anne and Adrian are excellent hosts. They are professional and the property is immaculate. Their attention to detail is excellent; complimentary bottled water/fudge/toiletries. The standards of cleanliness of the accommodation is absolutely second to none. Water pressure is a bit low in the shower, but that's conditional of the location. Because they are so organised and want to provide a first class service, they may ask you to order your breakfast when you arrive, but rather than order a full english, I would suggest waiting as there are other tempting options on their menu which you don't see until the morning and I always wish I'd not pre-ordered. Plus, portions are large!

We stayed here for one night, arriving a bit late after 10 hours of walking in gale force winds looking rather windswept and worse for wear! We were shown to our rooms which were very comfortable, clean and well equipped if slightly on the small side. We were a bit surprised to be asked on arrival if we wanted a full english breakfast the following morning. It was very nicely cooked but we didn't realise until we sat in the breakfast room that there were other lighter options which we would probably have chosen. Saying that it was a good location with the Cobweb pub just across the road which suited us as the last thing we wanted was a long walk for food and drink. Being Bank Holiday weekend it was very busy, the food was not great but okay. All in all a pleasant stay.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night on Easter bank holiday weekend. It was a spur of the moment decision and we weren't expecting much.
This B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. Lower meadows was the perfect place to stay overnight in Boscastle.
