We stayed for one night and will definitely return. An amazing place with atmosphere and history in every room, you can almost feel the presence of all its visitors over the last five hundred years. The service was friendly and efficient, the room quirky and comfortable, the public rooms warm, elegant and comfortable, the food first class. The weather was too awfull to explore the grounds but everything else was delightful. More like staying with friends than in a hotel. We can't wait to return.

I stayed in this hotel on business and was pleasantly surprised at the standard of this hotel, very well maintained and elegantly decorated. Reception was very friendly and efficient, I had to leave at 6 a.m the next morning, as this was too early for the kitchen they provided me with a packed lunch instead of breakfast. The food in the bar was well priced, the sausage and mash was extremely tasty with the best gravy I have ever tasted.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the rooms and food and customer service.

Went to Boscastle for surprise short break and definitely would come back, village is beautufil, picturesque, great walks around with unbelievable views, we just loved it. And staying in Wellington made it even nicer, family room - 2 bedrooms, nice space, very pleasant staff - as travellinf with children decided to eat in pub rather than restaurant as bit more relaxing, again very nice, good food - and very nice staff - definitely going back as soon as time allows. thank you
