Nasty staff, stank of cigs, horrible people. bad service. Worst hotel ever full of garbage staff, my sink leaked if you are a meat head go here no problems for you. I hate this hole.

when I arrived I was given outside room ,this is a motel not a hotel,it should be correctly
advertised,the room had strange smell, the handle of the bathroom door came off in your
hand if you tried to close it ,the back door of thr room was locked,so if the was a fire at the front,theres no escape,the room phone was dead,promised they would knock my door,
and ring my mobile to wake me up.this did not happen,Ipaid 52 pounds for taxis,and 58
for the disgusting place,would have been cheaper and better to have gone to a proper
hotel,when I said to mischa the receptionist I should have been given discount she just
laughed,in a condescending manner,she was unhelpful,unprofessional and not suited to
this type of work,spoke withthe guest next door he has to stay at this place due to doing
work locally but he said the place is a shambles couldnt agree more,plus the noise
from the aircraft your awake most of the night,would never stay at this place or ever
recommend it,the people running dont seem to know what they are doing.

We stayed at Master Robert for three nights, January 2012. It is the fourth time we have used the hotel.
Make sure you get placed in Hogarth Block. This time we stayed in single storey room and were awakened with flights from 4.30 am.
Rooms are very good, spacious and clean. Breakfast is excellent, and staff are first class,
But we only managed to sleep for about five hours per night.

My wife & I stayed at this hotel for a total of ten days between 7th. & 24th. September, on and off, while we visited various parts of the U.K. & France. We selected this hotel because it was convenient for the airport, and the rates were such that if we wished we could have afforded to take a taxi into London's West End and back, rather than stay at a hotel in town, and still been ahead. In fact, using the nearby frequent bus and train services and our Oyster Cards, this was not necessary and about as quick. Also, as residents of Hounslow over 40 years ago, we were familiar with the Master Robert - it had a good local reputation even then.

The rooms were adequate if not luxurious, a bit noisy due to the proximity of LAX, and the luggage room distinctly cramped, but this was acceptable in view of the other advantages.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable of local services, and efficient. We would particularly commend receptionist Miranda, who never failed to greet us by name, went out of her way to accommodate our requests, and even helped us with wrapping materials for sending parcels. (Note to the management: Hang on to her - you've got a good one there!)

The full English breakfast was more than ample, tasty, and varied, and would keep you going for most of the day if need be. We entertained visitors once for dinner - the food was was good if not gourmet. It did not pretend to be.

We would recommend this hotel to a traveller who wants good value, comfort without luxury, and good service without hands being held out for tips all the time.
