Only a one night stay unfortunately - just a late evening arrival and an early flight the next day.

Perfect location, quick and easy check in, drop signed form in slot check out, great room, excellent room facilities. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if T4 is where you need to be - covered walkway into the terminal, secure parking.

A short walk from terminal 4 at LHR. Real nice rooms, and great staff. The exec. lounge was amazing! awsome snacks (super good!), a great selection of beer/wine/spirits. The staff made sure everything was well stocked and clean. Very busy at check-in, but more staff were called up right away to help. I can not wait to come back. The front desk gave great directions to a Tesco for some light shopping.

We booked the Hilon because their website said the hotel was a minutes walk from the terminal. Getting off a 15 hours flight at 9.00pm we hoped for a quick walk to a comfortable bed. However after a 45 mins wait for our luggage we were not happy to find that it took a good ten minutes pulling suitcases through an never ending, bitterly cold tunnel before we emerged outside at the side of the hotel entrance. It is not a minutes walk as claimed, by the stretch of anyone's imagination - perhaps Usain Bolt could do it.
We found a queue at the reception which was caused by there being only one member of staff on duty. Again we hung around for some time, shattered and cold waiting for our turn to experience british hospitality.
The room was compact, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable .
We decided to have a meal before retiring. In the lobby are there was a servery. We had a Chicken Caesar salad, and Beef and Horseradish sandwich, a bowl of chips and two glasses of Merlot for £51.13. There was nothing special or spectacular about the meal.
Breakfast was served in the same lobby area. The service was very good and there was a good choice of food. However the £33 price tag for two left us a little stunned.
We pick stopover hotels for their convenience and value. We picked this one only for it's convenience. The room cost £124 when you add breakfast at £33 and remove the advertised convenience we made a big mistake.
Next time we will look to a budget hotel near the airport and build the taxi journey into our travel expectations.

I am a Hilton Honors (blue) member and I was pretty appalled to find that at the Heathrow Hilton I was expected to pay for internet access. C'mon HIlton -- it's free at the cheap-and-cheerful Yotel, get with the program! There is a line between making a reasonable profit and just ripping people off. So despite all the amenities, the stylish furniture, posh lobby etc (plus an incredibly helpful staff member named Yelena), I won't stay there again. It's just wrong to ask me to pay for internet at an airport hotel, particularly when the far cheaper Yotel (OK, the rooms are small etc but it's a micro-hotel after all) has it as standard. For the older managers at Hilton who might not quite get how important being connected is, imagine being in a hotel room with no phone, no TV and no running water unless you pay extra -- that is pretty much what the internet is to people today.
