“Nice hotel... HORRIBLE Staff!”

I stayed in this hotel 2 days ago in the third floor and I had a terrible stay. The room was nice and very clean, nothing wrong with the facilities, however there were pigeons on the air conditioning vents and they were extremely loud and I could not either rest or concentrate on anything else because the noise was so loud. I went to the reception to get switched to a different room and they would not allow me to switch rooms even though they had rooms available! The person in front of me at the reception desk had just asked for their availability of rooms for the next day and they confirmed there were rooms, but when I asked to be switched, they told me the hotel was full and were unable to do anything. I went to the website and booked a second room through the website as I knew there were rooms available and really needed to rest. I payed for the second room and refused to admit that the hotel was not full even though I had just booked a room myself. They were very rude and started yelling at me at one point while I was trying to check in to the other room because I was taking up a room that they needed... It was all very confusing because all the staff was Indian and they all have very strong accents that are difficult to understand and barely speak English. Finally I got into my second room and the noise was not so terrible there, however the staff really made my stay very uncomfortable. I will never go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Do not stay in this hotel, the staff is very unprofessional and they barely speak English.

“First time to London”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Room was ok. AC was set at blizzard cold...mgt couldn't do anything to fix it, but did give me an extra blanket. Shower was poorly designed. Staff at the hotel was great; Very friendly and responsive. Very close to train but really far from the center of London.

“Don't judge a book by its cover - Perfect place to stay for Heathrow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

When my partner and i got off the Tube with our cases there was no lifts or ramps down to street level which wasnt very helpful. Exit the station to a few local 24 hour markets that I wouldnt dream of buying fruit and veg from and a busy road, I was slightly concerned what I had booked us for the night before our early morning flight to Dubai the next day!

Walked a little distance (5 mins max) to find the Hotel on the junction corner and have to say exterior not filling me with much hope that all would be great.

Entered the hotel and approached Reception. not even a hello or welcome from the receptionist, just took the booking form which was a little rude I felt but was given the room key and headed to the 2nd floor.

Entered the room and wow!! What a room. Now its not your five star Savoy/Ritz luxury by all means but the room was lovely! It looked as it it was recently updated and I couldnt fault the room at all! Lovely comfortable bed, nice LCD TV and the shower was out of this world! Amazing. No noise from hall way or street either. great night sleep.

I paid £43 for the night which included breakfast and for me that was an outstanding bargain for the quality of the room and the breakfast was pretty damn good too. (£5 extra for cooked breakfast). I would happily have paid more if I hadnt have found a deal.

Staff could be a little more happier I feel but the hotel itself is lovely! Very good value for money. Would stay here every time we fly from Heathrow. The moral of the introduction here is...don't judge a book by its cover.

5 mins from Tube station, 5/10 mins into town, and about 10/15 mins to Heathrow on the Tube!

Brilliant! Perfect! Would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Any room. I'm sure they are all lovely. Shop around on the web for a good price.

“Excellent value for money spent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

Good location, good area, good service, friendly and professional staff, good value for money. The rooms are nice and clean.Suitable for business travelers and leisure. good for honeymooners. Near to Twickhanam National Rugby Stadium. Although the hotel is near Heathrow Airport, but unable to hear the air plane from the bedrooms. Free internet WIFI. Easy to go to central London as the underground train station is 2 mins walk. shops/bus stops around.

Room Tip: All rooms are facing good view

“Great stop going to/from Heathrow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel after getting in on a late flight into Heathrow. A short tube ride away from the airport, it made a lot of sense and we were very happy with the room. Typical European room with some upgrades (new tile and fixtures in the bathroom, flatscreen TV, wireless internet). I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers who need easy access to Heathrow for early flights. It's a 1 minute walk from the Picadilly Line trains into central London or out to Heathrow.

The only thing I think the hotel needs is to upgrade/change out the carpets. They were a little worse for wear. Otherwise, our stay was great, and at a really great price.
