Being overnight for a business trip, I found the hotel easy to find. Sleeping in one of the Executive Suites, it is spacious and very welcoming. Very friendly receptionist and barmaid, a great pleasure to have a conversation with to come to know more about the area and its surroundings.
The dinner was ab-so-lutely amazing! Starter, mains and to top it all off, a desert that wasn't even on the menu. You have the freedom to dine in your room, or order some drinks for later the night.
I will definately come back here, as Oldham/Chadderton are very pretty areas in North-East Manchester and easy to navigate from into the rural bits of the country.

Room Tip: Executive suites are very affordable.

“Fab New Years Eve”

We attended a function at Smokies Park and it was brilliant 'Black and Bling' for New Years Eve. Great Hotel and the food was lovely.

“New Year's Eve Stay”

We were staying at the hotel on New Year's Eve, attending and event elsewhere.

The staff on reception and in the hotel bar worked very hard to look after us despite being very busy on probably the most demanding night of the year.

Overall the hotel appears to be a very well run hotel.

“Do not stay here!”

Paid for 2 nights only stayed one as just awful! Couldn't use bar due to private function! First room stunk of fags, nice receptionist moved us, second room right next to parry in private function which resulted in no sleep! Maid then woke us up early am as Walls paper thin so it was like they were having conversation in our bedroom! Do not stay here!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Hotel Smokies Park. I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay. We do try our best to stop our guests smoking in the bedrooms and regular fines are administrated to those that we know have broken this rule. On this occasion, I am sorry that you had to move from the quiet room we selected for you due to the room smelling of smoke (which has not been rectified) to one of our last rooms which was closer to the large function we were hosting than I would have liked.

We are very busy during December with functions and do our best to allocate our guests bedrooms accordingly.

I do hope this does not put you off using Best Western again, as I feel this was an isolated incident

I know that my reservations manager has been in contact with you directly and hope to see you again in the future
