Having read some of the previous reviews, we wondered if we had done the right thing in booking for two nights DB&B. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was good, imaginative and plentiful - the crab cocktails in particular were more than generous. Lovely homemade breads, jams, cookies. It is a fourteenth century inn and, yes, the floors creak and slope in all directions. That's character. Some of the furnishings were a little dated in the bedrooms but everything that you could need was provided. The staff were friendly and efficient. All four of us decided we would be more than happy to return.
