When we booked into burfoots, we expected an everyday moderate B&B. It turned out to be a high quality, clean, comfortable 'home from home'. The 4 diamond rating was fully justified and the breakfast was lovely.

It is run by a family who are warm and friendly and made sure our stay was relaxed and enjoyable.

We spent the days visiting local places such as Avebury and walking across the local countryside. For meals we used the local Pubs and these were also good. Its in a typically English village called Hilmarton just 2 miles outside Calne. We found them through the tourist board publication but their web site at www.burfoots.co.uk is now up and running.

If you want a place to be friendly and comfortable with warm and friendly hosts - this may be the place for you. Judging by the visitors book, people from all over have already enjoyed their stay. All the comments were very favourable and contributors included people from America, New Zealand and even Russia!

We would highly recommend this B&B and will ceratinly be going back another time.
