“Fabulous”

I only stayed for one night but thought this was a fabulous B&B. Brilliant, friendly and relaxed service from the very first minute. Lovely twin room with modern clean bathroom, TV, DVD, Ipod docking station etc. We were offered fresh milk for tea in our room and told that if there was anything we wanted for breakfast that wasn't on the menu our hostess would endeavour to get it if we told her before the shops shut. In reality, I think it would be hard to think of something that wasn't already offered on the menu and we had a lovely well cooked full English and a vegetarian equivalent. The B&B is right in the centre of Hebden Bridge and has parking. When we came to leave, we had a problem with the car and our welcomed us back inside and tried to assist with the problem while we awaited the AA.
I was sad to leave and would definitely stay again. I have stayed in Hebden Bridge before and this was much nicer accomodation and much more personal service.

“ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC...FIRST CLASS”

Holme House is a beautiful old house, brimming with charm and character, We chose to stay in the apartment which is lovely, very cottage-like inside, lovely comfotale lounge with leather sofas and tv, fully fitted kitchen with seperate dining area, beautiful bedroom with 2 very comfortable double beds, we had our own seperate entrance which led to a lovely little courtyard, overall the apartment is wonderful..spotlessly clean, charming and cosy...we loved it. The hosts are lovely, very warm and welcoming and did everything they could do to make our stay as happy and memorable as it will be.
Holme House is a very special place...a real jewel..perfectly situated right in the heart of Hebden Bridge, I was lucky enough to have a tour of the house before we left, the whole house is absolutly beautiful and the guest bedrooms are exquisit, we will deffinatly return........... one last word referring to the review titled 'a little disappointed' there is nothing to complain about, that review totally contradicts everything Holme House is about, its a lovely place run by lovely people, Thankyou for making our stay so special, hope to see you again very soon.

“Just Fabulous !”

This has to be one of the best B & Bs in the country. My husband and I have been coming here for around 4 years now and each time it is just perfect. The rooms are all first class with top quality bathroom products and real tea and coffee, not to mention chocolates! The breakfast is ordered the night before from an extensive menu and cooked freshly when you arrive in the beautiful dining room. The hosts,Sally and David, have a real eye for detail and nothing is too much trouble

This visit was with a friend who had never been before, she was so taken with it she is already trying to arrange a return visit. My husband also thinks he's missed out , so he's trying to arrange another trip as well!

Hebden itself is an amazing little town full of individual shops and cafes (not one High Street name to be seen, except Boots on the outskirts). We ate at Greens a superb vegeterian cafe during the day and restaurant on weekend evenings.

Myself and my partner travelled to Yorkshire for the Easter break and came across this fantastic bed and breakfast.
The service was one of the best we have experainced as we travel alot.
The rooms were very comfortable and the management were welcoming and could not do enough for you. I would go back time and time again.
The breakfast was fantastic and cooked just how we asked for it.
I would recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family and will 100% be going back again as soon as we can.
Thank you again to the managment for making our stay so lovely and relaxing.

“Very happy with our stay”

Holme House proved the perfect choice for us as a stopover between Leeds and Manchester, the short walk to the station being particularly convenient. Our room (the twin) was very comfortable and the owners quickly fixed the radiator as they were concerned it felt cold (we hadn't really noticed) - when we returned to it in the evening it was very warm and welcoming. There was a lavish selection of tea, coffee and chocolate as well as biscuits, grapes and chocolates. The bathroom was excellent with a large shower cubicle, big mirrors, wooden floor and warm as well, large towels and dressing gowns all laid out. Very comfortable beds and not a sound from the post office next door from which we'd been warned there could be disturbance (what exactly kicks off in a post office in the middle of the night?) I was particularly impressed by the box of books in the room - normally when these are provided you struggle to find something to entertain you, but I actually quite fancied reading all of these. We had an early train to catch the next day and were a bit embarrassed to ask for breakfast at seven, but it was made clear this was no problem at all and it proved a real treat with first class bacon, sausages and black pudding and best of all proper strong good quality coffee. And a newspaper even that early. I only wish we'd been able to see some of Hebden Bridge in daylight as it looked like a very attractive town. We'll have to go back.
