I had to visit my Mother and hotels near Jenkintown PA were very expensive so for the first time we used Priceline. We got this hotel for $40 plus tax. For one night, how bad could it be? We forgot to take the directions we printed out and couldn't find the hotel so we called. After they finally answered the phone and got back to us after putting us on hold, the person we were talking to couldn't give us good directions even though we were less than 2 miles away. Finally got there and there were 2 people in front of us. There was only one person at check in and she was probably the one that wasn't able to give us directions. One was checking in and the second left. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, we got the key to the room. It was small with a kitchenette which we didn't need and the basic amenities. All we wanted was a place to sleep and a hot shower in the morning. The room had both. It also had 1970's Holiday Inn type air conditioning - the noisy window unit. Every 2 minutes it would come back on for a minute and wake us up again. We did not get a good night's sleep.

This is a property of the Extended Stays chain. They asked us to fill out a survey in which I stated the above. They followed up with an email apologizing for the problems and asking us to confirm our mailing address so they could send us a certificate for a complimentary stay. We never got it even after a follow up email asking where it was. They may have been able to buy off this review as I would have given them a second chance. But by promising it and not delivering, they delayed me writing this review for a month.

The only thing positive I have to say is by using Priceline we got a cheap room.
