Our group of two families-all age ranges with children spent 2 nights at this motel for our trip to nearby Hersheypark. The motel is in need of updating.We were on the second floor (entry via a cement stairwell at end of building) smelled! The rooms are typical and the bathrooms were clean.There was a problem with the mattresses in one room smelled like a dirty diper to quote the one family. A quick trip to buy airfreshener was required. The motel is not REAL close to the park.(10 minute drive).There is a family resteraunt nearby- Funcks.Food was quick and reasonable.We never used the pool due to unusual cool weather.
It looked clean.For the price paid- $125.00/ night I have stayed at better and worse.There are alot of nicer and more modern hotels around.Check them out first!!

We stayed at the Chocolatetown Motel when we went to Hersey for an overnight stay. We pretty much just slept there. We arrived around 9:00PM and were sent directly to our room. Mr. Good gave us a great map of the area and advised us the best way to get anywhere. We checked out bright and early the next morning. The pool was nice although we did not use it. The airconditioner was a little musty when we turned it on but all in all the room was clean and so was the bathroom. I would definately stay again. Also the price was a bit high for really no amenities but a pool.

We stayed at this Motel for 2 nights so we could be close to Hersheypark and enjoy a mini end of summer vacation. Overall this motel is a good value. Our room was very clean, rugs appeared to be new. Mattress were very comfortable. A/C worked great. Bathroom small, a bit outdated but we really just needed it to be clean and it was. The pool was fine for a quick dip after the park. The man in the office was helpful and kind. Restaurant across the street Dukes was great!!!! Skip dinner in the park and eat here. Would definitely stay here again. It is about a 5-10 min drive to the park.

We stayed at this motel during our holiday in the last week of July. Since we were just wandering through the state and didn't know exactly when we would be in the area I did not book any of the accomadations I had researched. I was disappointed to learn that the rates were much higher than on the internet. We decided to stay anyway but the room was seemed very stale. The chocolate tiles and bathroom fixtures were a fun idea, but need a little lift now. Since it is not an upscale accomadation it would also be nice to see a few more amenities in the room like a fridge and/or a microwave. It was tough storing all that chocolate we had purchased at Chocolate World. On the plus side, the lady at the front desk was very helpful.
