Despite Google directions & directions from Suites' confirmation, we still had to stop in nearby Turkey Hill gas station for directions and they never heard of it! Not one single sign on highway, exit or near entrance indicating where it was. Had to call lobby from Turkey Hill and finally got directions from hotel clerk.
Once there, however, our four day stay was pleasant, clean & very, very quiet. One thing to remember about residence-related hotels such as this which we weren't aware of beforehand: housekeeping is only done once a week; towels must be 'exchanged' for new ones when needed.
Nice fridge w/icemaker; micro; two burner stovetop, dishes, pots, pans and all utensils; coffeemaker; hairdryer, iron, etc. Huge closet. Nice tv but very limited channels. Good Internet connection but don't depend on computer and printer in lobby. Very slow. Complimentary use of washer dryer. Just need to supply your own detergent which can be purchased in their "cupboard". Nicely remodeled. Good beds. Exercise room leaves a lot to be desired. Two treads and couple of other units. Not too airy. Little "odiferous".
Ask for room on 5th floor, remembering that the way building is configured, lobby is on fourth floor and bottom three floors are below grade and only face rear. Top rooms have beautiful view of valley. Again...very quiet. Saved on breakfast & dinners by eating in. Do Internet search for nearby supermarkets since only closest one is small and limited in supplies. But quaint and doable in a pinch. Would definitely stay again either here or any other Candlewood Suite. Less likely to have to put up with overnight party-goers/ wedding guests and lots of families w/noisy kids at one of these places. Mostly business people, older travelers and laborers. All folks who value quiet and a good rest. Could be just a "tad" cheaper though. Maybe by $5 -$10 or so considering you've got to make your own bed and exchange those coveted linens yourself.
Room Tip: Top floor in rear away from elevator if possible. Remember, fourth floor is lobby floor.
