Our third stay in 3 years. Last year we were promised us the downstairs room, (which we had the first year and absolutely loved). When we got there, it was given to someone else (who was coming in the next day). This year, though we called twice after reserving to confirm that we were to get the downstairs room, when we arrived it was promised to someone else again, also arriving the next day. Though rooms are clean, the only entry to upstairs rooms is literally through the kitchen! For some reason the front door is not used. Not sure why commitments to specific room requestes are not kept, but it looks like a trend here. Sorry, there are far better places in the area to stay.
