We were in town for the PA Auto Show (right next door at the Farm Show Complex). The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's literally located right next door to the complex, so it's perfect for any events that take place there. Also, downtown Harrisburg is only 5 minutes away max, and Hershey is maybe 15 minutes (10 miles) to the east. Lancaster area is maybe 40 minutes. We stayed for one night in a studio suite with two beds. Since it was January and not the peak season, the hotel wasn't very crowded, and we were given a first floor room, not far from the lobby and breakfast area.
The hotel is relatively new, maybe only 2 years old at the max. The rooms are very clean, modern and spacious. (Although the TV was in an odd place- not directly in front of the beds, so we had to turn it- no big deal). The breakfast area is very nice. There is a free hot breakfast included (rather than the continental breakfast you usually see), and it was pretty good. The one problem we experienced was that the toilet in our room seemed to have a problem; it didn't flush correctly and seemed to be clogged. We had to request a plunger from the front desk (which is always embarrassing) and try to fix it, but it never was truly fixed while we were there. The bathroom area wasn't very big, but no big deal there either.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady who checked me in, she was great.The process took literally a minute and she was very nice.
Overall, a very good, new hotel that I would definitely recommend to other travelers in this area. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Harrisburg, which will hopefully be soon!!
