I choose this place b/c it was right across the street from Grove City College where my son was visiting. The location is great for that purpose. However, it faces a very busy street & the traffic noise was so loud that it kept me up at night until it died down & it woke me up way earlier in the a.m. than I was willing to get up. The place also needs some cleaning & a good maintenance man. Our shower curtain was black w/ mold on the bottom & the shower ceiling had the beginning of mold growth...probably b/c the bathroom fan does not work! There was lint & such on the carpet on the unused side of the bed which indicates it does not always get vacuumed between visitors. Also, the level of clutter in the home is incredible. Everything is quite outdated. The owner is a widow now & this may just be too much for her. She was very nice & gave me a refund for the night we did not use after I mentioned to her that I would be checking out early b/c of the traffic noise. Next time, I will be going back to the other B&B in town where I have stayed before which is only a few blocks further away from campus on Poplar St.

Our hostess was very kind and helpful, our breakfast very good. Our one serious problem was that the traffic on the street in front of the Bed and Breadfast was VERY noisy. We awoke several times to traffic noise and garbage collection at 4 AM. Incidentally, beware of the back steps!

The B & B is directly across the street from Grove City College which makes it a very advantageous location. I would recommend this only to those who prefer a B & B to motels.

We needed a romantic night away. The snow goose inn was exactly what we were looking for.

We were looking for a place to stay in town near Grove City College, and choices are few indeed. The Snow Goose is in a great location, across the street from "lower campus". The owner, Mrs. McMillan, was pleasant and courteous. She serves a delicious hot breakfast, although not for the voracious appetite. Large, friendly poodle on site, but, unlike the other inn, no cats; important for our family with allergies.

Our room was acceptable, queen and single bed, private bath, but small. The place was clearly worn. B&B books from the 90s on the shelves, a collection of Santa Clauses and dolls. Only TV in the lounge. The rooms were cluttered, the floor creaks, and the carpet needed a vacuum. Still, we were safe, comfortable, and all that we needed was provided.

Grove City is not a tourist spot. A block from the Snow Goose are 3 or four restaurants on the main street, a few other shops. But with the only chain hotels 10 miles away at the 79 interchange, pickings are slim.

So stay at the Snow Goose if you don't mind a worn B&B
