I need a place to stay that was unexpensive but clean . I was just driving through and needed a place to crash for a few hours, and didnt want to pay a high amount. I highly recommend the Green Roof Inn. I also will continue to stay there every year I travel through PA.

We waited too long to decide to spend Memorial Day weekend in Erie and so everything closer to Erie in our price range was booked. So we decided to stay here with another couple. My wife and I had stayed here a few years ago. The rooms are clean and spacious with great amenities--small fridge and a micro-wave, coffee maker, table and chairs. We had two rooms with king beds. The rooms were located in the annex. We really did not spend much time in the rooms, leaving in the morning for Erie and not returning till after dinner, but the location is quiet and comfortable.

We wanted to visit Presque Isle State Park and found GRI on line and booked after reading all good reviews. Nice clean room with frig,micro,small table and two chairs, and two double beds.The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there is a wonderfull one next door Crowleys we got great seafood there,and the service was great. We spent two nights and slept well in this clean,quiet, hotel, it is a older hotel but well taken of and located in a country setting. The staff was friendly and helpfull,our room was cleaned and straightened up each day . There are picnic tables,grills,and a firering and free wood for the fire provided by the hotel. Nice clean laid back place to rest. Presque Isle State Parks beach and the area all around Lake Erie is great place to vacation there are water parks,gulf,amusments,campgrounds,lighthouses,vineyards,and much more . All right here in our beautfull state of Pennsylvania, forget the sea shore and go to the beach at Presque Isle State Park and if you want a clean affordable place to stay check in at the Green Roof Inn you'll be glad you did. The whole stay here couldn't have been easier. I was looking for somewhere near Girard to stay in with my dog, and from the pictures on their website it could've gone either way. After reading all of the great reviews I decided to book a room. The reservations process was very easy, the staff was extremely friendly, and the room was nothing special but it was nice and clean. It was very quiet. Overall it was a great value for the price and I would definitely stay here again.
