This is a 2.5 star hotel so you get what you pay for. The room was quite dirty, stains on the chair and the computer chair was broken. There was also a very bad smell in the room. That being said the staff were extremely friendly, good breakfast and good location.

I am a frequent traveler and the mattress at the Holiday Inn was the worse I have ever slept on. I complained to the staff but was told all rooms had the same matteress type. Later that night, I was awakened at 11:00 PM by the Manager as he was attempting to enter my room to follow-up on my complaint about the mattress. I will never stay there again!!!

Stayed here while in the area on business. Very clean. Good breakfast bar. Peter at the front desk was pleasant and knowledgable- more businesses need employees like him!

We returned from seeing MD just outside of Philadelphia and chose to stay in Malvern,PA. Reviews of hotels closer to Philadelphia in our price range were mostly good but each one seemed to have one review mentioning bed bugs, questionable neighborhoods or the room being unclean in some way. We were thrilled and relieved to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Malvern, PA. The entire staff that we encountered were very pleasant, everything was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast buffet was plentiful (fresh apples and oranges were a treat!). The hostess really seems to enjoy her job and it showed. We didn't have time so I don't even know if there was a pool or exercise facility but the hotel for a place to get a good night's rest and breakfast was truly appreciated. I saw that Wegmans is building a store just across the street from the Holiday Inn Express- the value of the room will go up when that opens!
