We stayed here because we needed to find a hotel with smoking rooms (a rarity these days). The hotel was pretty dated. The rooms are in desperate need of a paint job (there was a phone number written on the bathroom wall, cleaning staff didn't notice it???). Windows don't even crack open so it was very stuffy. My sister asked for a laundry bag at the front desk, and they gave her a plastic Dunkin' Donuts bag. No pens, pads of paper. Bathroom was at least clean, good water pressure in shower, though towels were very scratchy. Bottom line, if you're not a smoker, there are tons of newer options in that same area, and I'd recommend you stay somewhere else.

Visting family for birthday party. Had 3 rooms near each other as requested. Clean well kept, friendly staff and a hot breakfest.

I was late to book this hotel but who knew that it would be so hard to get a room in Allentown this past weekend. We checked in around 10:00PM only to find that the reservation was for a smoking and handicapped accessible room. When I went in the room it was really stinky from all the smoke so I returned to ask for a non-smoking room. They were fully booked so we had to take the room we were originally assigned. Be sure to ask for a non-smoking room if that is what you want!

Because the shower could be accessed by a wheelchair (i.e. there was no barrier from bathroom floor to shower) water went everywhere during my shower. There were also a few holes in the shower wall where something had been screwed in at some point. I just kept thinking there was a hidden camera in there. If there would have been room elsewhere, we would have left. All of the furniture was old. This place need renovated!

We just returned from a weekend trip to the nearby Macungie Car show. Front desk staff was ok... IF you could find a person. Hotel and room were only fairly clean but in dire need of renovation. We walked into our room to find a plastic bag covering the smoke detector. We asked to have it taken down and the smoke dectector checked to be sure it was working, only to return in the evening to find the bag still there. It was NEVER REMOVED. There was a broken window in the front of the building that was covered with cardboard! We knew we were in trouble when the front desk girl asked if we would like to have our room cleaned while we were out for the day. Of course we said YES... PLEASE CLEAN IT EVERY DAY! And skip the free breakfast. Eggo Waffels that were cold and hard. Scrambeled eggs had a funny taste so we had to throw them away. Would not dare try the sausage. BOTTOM LINE... Wyndham Mgt needs to seriously re-consider this hotel's credentials.
