“Great Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

I was very impressed with this hotel. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms had more than we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. There are also many stores and restaurants nearby. Me and my Girlfriend stayed here for the weekend in a queen suite while visiting friends in Devon PA and Philly. Its a little far from the city at about 45mins, but worth it if you don't mind the drive. I will definitely stay here again.

“Fantastic Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

This Residence Inn is your run-of-the-mill Marriott property. What sets this hotel apart is the fantastic service. From check-in to breakfast, each interaction with the employees was pleasant. I felt welcomed by the front desk and was even greeted by employees in the hall.

I was very impressed with the call that the front desk made to my room when I got back from dinner. They asked if I wanted a wake-up call. In the hundreds of hotels I've stayed in, this has never happened. I was impressed.

I hope to stay here again when I'm in Exton visiting my company's home office.

“Excellent Hotel, Fantastic Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2011

We stayed here as a result of having to evacuate our home for Hurricane Irene. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. We had to bring our two cats with us, and they made it very easy for us to check in with them.

“Clean & comfortable”

First I have to acknowledge the front desk staff. They were very professional, friendly and helpful.
We had a studio suite with a kitchen which was clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet. Although we never used the pool area, it looked clean and well maintained. The free breakfast buffet had a nice variety of waffles/pancakes, eggs , oatmeal, cereals & fruits.
The only drawback is the hotel allows pets. I am not a big fan of that policy but If your in the area and don't mind sharing an elevator with "Fifi" you won't be disappointed.

“Comfortable room-fitness room lacking”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

I travel and stay in hotels 2-3 nights a week. I had never stayed at a Residence Inn as I am a Hilton person. I was pleasantly surprised by some aspects. First the negative: I CANNOT STAND hotels that do not have automatic doors, since manuevering multiple bags/luggage through a double set of non-automatic doors is cumbersome and not what you feel like doing after a long day of travel. The desk clerk watched me struggle and didn't help. EVERY hotel listen up: HAVE AUTOMATIC DOORS, Please! What if someone was handicapped?
The other negative: I always try to stay fit on the road by using the fitness room. Yes, people do use the fitness rooms. This was a fitness "closet "off the pool area. It was extremely hot and umcomfortable. Another girl was in there and she was suffering, too. I complained about the temperature in the room and they could not adjust it. It had NO AIR CONDITIONING. Seriously? Why do hotels have fitness rooms with no air? Do you want guests to stroke out? The desk clerk did bring a fan at my request, but even the fan was weak and barely put out any air. Hey hotel, either change your fitness room or buy decent fans! I never could get this resolved over my stay. So fitness fans, stay away. Now the positive:
The room was a large room with 2 beds and a living area with a homey fireplace. Very comfortable and well-lighted. No complaints on my room. Marriotts should copy Hiltons and provide complementary water. The hotel was very quiet and no rowdy kids.
