Honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had in the U.S. This hotel looks fine on the outside but inside watch out! Damp and dirty hallways, bugs in the room, and one extremely hostile staff person manning the whole operation. I checked in with my daughter Oct 5 for a 2 night stay while attending a lacrosse tournament. When we got there other families reported the rooms were terrible and that everyone who arrived earlier had quickly moved to another hotel (which of course was now full). The long line of people checking in took forever since families who needed 2 beds had been given rooms with one and the desk attendant was hostile and rude not to mention alone so each customer was a 15 minute ordeal. Since we got there after 7:30 we could not refuse our room without forfeting the nights deposit so we checked in hoping everyone else was overreacting. Unfortunately they were not. Even the prospect of having a night of fun with girls from her team could not keep my daughter in the room (the bugs all over the windows and walls did it for her) so we moved to a Hilton in Kennett Square at 11:30 pm which was $60 more a night but at least we would be able to sleep there. When I told the desk attendant at the Extended Stay about the bugs she said there was nothing she could do about it. They took one night's money from us and lots of other deposits from other teammates' families who moved to other hotels. If you are going to operate a hotel that is obviously used for Fraternity parties and the like don't rent room blocks to 13-year-old lacrosse playing girls and their families--that is just plain disgusting like your property.
