I was very pleased with my stay at the George Carroll House while my husband was in the Hamot Medical Center. I stayed in room #7 which was very "homey" and very spacious. I can say that i have stayed in many, many hotels across the country and this Bed & Breakfast was absolutely the cleanest by far! I had no problems sleeping, the room was very quiet and the bed was one of the coziest beds i have ever slept in ....as a matter of fact i asked what type of bed it was before i left! The owner Chris was extremely nice and very helpful when i had questions about the area. I will definitely be booking my stay here when i venture to Erie again!

The George Carroll House was truly exceptional. It was very reasonably priced, very clean, spacious, ideally located and Christine was very helpful.

In the two rooms I stayed in I have to say the showers were great, I did not want to get out of them!

On the same trip I stayed in the Microtel for double the price and it was half as good, so when I am back in Erie I will defiantly book well in advance and stay again in the George Carroll!

Found this hidden gem online. Pictures don't do it justice. My husband & our 2 girls stayed here while vacationing in presque isle. Close to beach, shops & dining. B & b was very clean, very comfortable & served simple breakfast. Owner is very welcoming & very helpful. We all want to come back!!!!

This is a lovely B & B located very close to the downtown and waterfront in Erie, Pa. You are only 5 miles from Presque, Isle where you have a 13 mile bike, kayaking and beaches that are lovely. The breakfast is a very basic, but adequate, continental breakfast. We highly recommend this facility.
