This is a beautiful, clean and well run establishment. It is charming, quaint and friendly. Yes, the furniture may be dated but its better than new and cheap furniture. Yes, the bathrooms are old but it worked great! We had a coffee machine, mini fridge and microwave in our room. There was always coffee and tea available in the breakfast room, by the check in desk. The breakfast was simple but fresh and conversation flowed as strangers, touched by the homey feeling, shared tips on Erie, traveling and birdwatching. The hotel is located on a main road and there are tons of restaurants, gas stations and various stores located nearby. If I ever go back to Erie, I will definitely stay here. The price was cheap and the place was lovely. It was like staying at a cousins house, not a hotel.
