The Hampton Inn in Easton, PA; a short drive outside of the downtown area just south of Route 33 on 3723 Easton Nazareth Hwy (Route 248). Just 4.5 miles from the Crayola Factory, this inexpensive hotel has plenty to offer. Very clean and quiet rooms with a very helpful staff.
Rooms are nice and spacious for the value with free parking and internet.
Breakfast area had its standard offerings; waffle maker, cereals, juices and coffee. The area did get somewhat crowded during peak hours. Seating became limited. Having a single waffle griddle that took over 2 minutes did not help to the seating cause.
Hotel also had a pool and gym area, (did not use), however did look well maintained.
There’s plenty of shopping and dining options all around the hotel on Rt 248.
A couple of travel notes:
It’s an ideal travel stop off of I78, less than 7 miles off of exit 71. For comfort and low cost, it’s well worth the trip.

My husband, teenage son and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Easton the weekend of the October 2011 snowstorm. It was truly one of the nicest mid-scale hotels we have visited. The staff is friendly and helpful, whether you are checking in, walking by or in the breakfast area. Room/bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices and the area was spotless.
I highly recommend this Hampton Inn for your stay in the Easton area. For those who may be visiting area colleges, as we were, it is a convenient and safe location.

My wife and I checked in the afternoon of the freakish October snowstorm. The welcome by the front desk staff was extremely friendly. Our room was just great with a fireplace, king bed sleeper sofa, wet bar, microwave. Really one of the nicest rooms in a mid-scale hotel that we have seen. The real clincher was when we expressed our desire to visit the "248 Diner" across the street, the Asst. GM absolutely insisted on driving us there and picking us up in the hotel's van when we finished. She said that it wasn't safe to try and cross this busy street on on foot. She seemed to really care for our welfare and even recommended her favorite dishes at the diner (which BTW had great food and incredibly friendly service). Breakfast the next morning at the Inn was well stocked and well staffed. Overall, an excellent experience.

Check in went smoothly - front desk very friendly. Hallways and room was very clean (and quiet). We arrived during a nor'easter -cold and soaked after a visit to a local college, and the room was all warmed for us. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked w/ lots of choices - and staffed by two people to keep the area. Parking lot and sidewalks were cleaned the morning after the snow. Pool was small (and a little chilly) but was adequate for our son to burn a little energy. Bar near the pool was a nice touch to grab a night cap to take up to the room. Hot choc and tea were enjoyed by our son in the evenings also. The son we were visiting at college stopped in w/ us and nearly fell asleep on the super comfortable beds.
