The fridge didn't work; the sparse breakfast consisted of tastykake donuts, English muffins, and corn flakes; it sounded like a herd of elephants in the hall and rooms above us when people checked in late at night; and the hallways reeked of smoke (Why the heck do they put smoking rooms in the same hallways as non-smoking rooms???)

On the plus side: the hotel is in a safe area; the room was clean; the HVAC worked well; the shower had hot water; and the front desk clerk was helpful.

This place is nothing fancy and barely decent. It just a place to stay over for a night.
When we got there, the first thing I noticed in our room was a very obvious "white stain" on our window curtains. very gross!!!! was turned off from that point on. and paid $86 for our room.

I stayed here for a night with family and had everything we needed. Very clean room with basic essentials and the staff was helpful. The price was great for what we were getting. Breakfast was descent. All in all I would stay here again!

After reading the reviews on trip advisor, we almost passed on this one. We've passed by it dozens of times before but stayed at other area hotels.
We were very pleasantly surprised...the rooms were spacious and clean, it had great access to Stroudsburg, the front desk was helpful, telling us about a flea market nearby, and the ac worked well...actually, our stay here was better than either the red roof in binghamton or the microtel in scranton that were more expensive anywhere we stayed the two previous nights.
This room actually had space to sit and relax and the lighting was good for reading..not so at the two previously mentioned spots.
