I stayed at this hotel over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was very nice, but EXTREMELY busy. This is one of the few reservations I've made online that has ever been lost, and it took over 2 hours to finally get a room. Only smoking rooms were available at the time, but because of the extreme delay in getting a room, and the fact that many of the rooms were not yet cleaned, they gave me a non-smoking room. If visiting during a holiday, be prepared.

We stayed here for two nights for our skiing trip at Shawnee Mountain with our 9-year-old son during the Christmas break. After reading the reviews, we kind of hesitated to make our reservations. But to our surprise, this hotel was clean, the room was decently decorated and had a LCD tv, it also had a good size indoor pool with warm water. My son and I had a really good time at the pool. We made our reservation with the AAA discount and it was about $70 a night with continental breakfast included, very good value in comparison to other lodging choice in the area. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are on a skiing trip at Shawnee or Camelback. The only drawback is there aren't many restaurants around.

This was the worst hotel experience ever. The hotel was incredibly noisy -- a fight broke out in the middle of the night and lasted about one hour. The jacuzzi made horrific noises in the middle of the night. There was no hot water in the shower.

The photo's were from 20 years ago, the pool is not connected to the hotel and pool area is not heated, just the water, the wifi did not work from our room, we were offered another room where it would reach but we had already unpacked and were too exhausted to move again, the rooms should be about 20$ a night, the only good thing I could say was the beds were fairly comfortable and the towels were soft and clean. My kids really wanted to swim but it was so cold I couldn't stay warm even walking laps around the pool. We checked out early and still had to pay for the next day, due to being nonrefundable booking through orbitz. will not use them again, or ever stay there again. If we had not been duped through misleading pictures and were not told the pool was in a separate unheated building we would not have booked there! The fog/moisture/condensation was so thick in the pool building I was afraid we would get legionaires or some mold induced lung infx. not a very healthy place to go! Also the staff takes photocopies of your ID and License and I was concerned about identiy theft, notified my bank to change my card number and watch my credit, did not seem very professional or legal to me!
