This is our third stay at this hotel and we have been pleased each time. Beds are comfortable, rooms were clean, we didnt try the breakfast but it looked just fine!! Check in is easy and passes are available to swim or exercise at the Y nearby. The city is quaint and the scenery is beautiful in this part of PA.

Where to begin...The lobby was strewn with cartons, the man at the desk was slovenly, the room was tiny, smelled bad, and had furniture stained with god knows what. The single small window could not be opened. Desk staff promised an "ionizer" to remove bad smell, then couldn't find one. Claimed no other rooms were available. We ended up leaving and staying at the Clarion, which, though old, is at least clean and well managed. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one is not worthy of the name.

This is absolutely not a Best Western PLUS. It looks like a 70s hotel with minimal updates. Very dark and worn. The front desk staff was not very welcoming. Couldn't get the door working to get into the building with the pass card. When we had to go back she told us it was a little difficult to get it working. Why wouldn't we be told that when we checked in. In addition we were on the 1st floor that felt like being in a basement. Really not impressed and wouldn't stay again.

The hotel was full of fleas, when checking in anouther guest was checking out and complained about fleas in the room. We checked in and found our room was covered in pet hair and the room was infested with fleas. The room was shown to the manager who only replied WE ARE A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL
