We have stayed at this hotel 3 times, getting two rooms each stay. Many of the rooms are water damaged, with black mold all over the bathroom and/or bedroom ceilings. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, sometimes mold behind the peeling paper. Water stain on the ceilings. Carpet appears to have never been shampooed. The toilet continuously flushed non-stop, they had no maintenance staff and we had to shut the water off to the commode by the shut off valve in order to sleep. The room heater was full of dust, dirty filter, etc. There is no safety chain or sliding lock on the doors to the rooms! This hotel is in very poor repair. Originally, we reported this to the manangement, they said the hotel had been remodeled. Our 2nd stay the next room appeared better, they basically, just covered the mold with putting a drop ceiling over it, etc. The next stays proved absolutely terrible again. (Apparently only some rooms were given cosmetic fixes. Most have not been touched.
Our last room did not even have baseboards on the floors, just a bare gap, approximately 3 inches above the carpet before the wall started. If you like a clean, well maintained hotel in good repair, look somewhere else! I am terribly concerned about the health of staying there as mold infestation is unhealthy & there are toxic molds. Mold must be remediated correctly, not just covered. I have never seen a hotel/motel without a chain/sliding lock on the door. The management is unresponsive also.
