I have stayed here before and your stay may depend on where they put you. I stayed in the newer part, room 107. The room was clean and smelled fresh, everything in the room with the exception of the TV was good. The picture was bad and showed signs that the picture tube was just shot, that thing needs replaced. Colors blooming, not sharp, just plain worn out, real people are not orange!
The carpet in the hallway is shot and needs replaced, fortunately the carpet in the room was fine. I have stayed in the old part in the past, and it was pretty dated. My room was across from the ice machine. While the door was suficient to block out the sound of the ice machine running, not the idiots that want ice until the wee hours and fill their coolers before most notrmal people will awake.
The beds were better that average and the pillows were fantastic! I rarely sleep well in hotels, this time I slept great in spite of the idiots that kept getting coolers full of ice. The pillows were so good that my wife had me email tham and ask what they were, for some reason all of the tags were cut off.
If you're going to 7 Springs or just passing thru, I would stay there again. There is a brand new Holiday Express just opening up the road, I may look at that next time as well but would not object to staying at Days Inn again..
