After booking this hotel one night for it's "Park and Fly" program, I became concerned when I read poor reviews after-the-fact. Granted, the property is in need of updating, but renovations are scheduled to occur this year. Despite this fact, we found the room to be clean and comfortable. We have paid far more for much less satisfactory accommodations! The "icing on the cake" here are it's employees. Everyone was courteous and helpful and did everything possible to make us feel like special customers. Robby, who was working the night desk even brought complimentary drinks and a snack to our room when we returned from dinner. Our wake up call arrived on time. Shuttle to and from the airport went off without a hitch. We will definitely return the next time we travel, and I expect that after the renovations are complete here the rating will go from "very good" to "excellent"!

In general it seems that the Crowne Plaza properties underachieve their market positioning.
They quite often appear to be old recycled Holiday Inn "Select" properties. I stayed at the Pittsburgh "Airport" property for one night on a business stopover. This is a very tired property. From the outside appearance, to the rooms, mechanical equipment, furnishings, accoutrements, etc., this property needs either rebranding or significant investment. It is in rather poor condition. The staff are friendly and do their best to work with what they have to work with. The dining area is OK. I would not select this property to stay again.

I am currently writing this review from my room. We stayed here last night, and will be staying again tonight. The room was clean, and decently sized. The staff has been friendly to me so far. Free wifi is a plus. The only REAL complaint that i have so far is that we did not receive our 5am wake up call, even though they "guarantee" that u will receive it on time. Have not spoken to the manager about this yet as it caused us to sleep in and my wife was late for work.

If u don't have to stay here, don't!!! It was November, and I found 2 flies flying around are room! This hotel is in desperate need of an update!!!
