Pros: Price was $58/ Night. Good location, close to Interstate 80. Lot's of choices to choose from for meals in area.
We arrived to the Inn only at 3pm to find it in rough condition. The parking lot is full of craters, and the exterior is grungy and weather beaten. There is lots of exterior maintenance that needs to be done. At night, the Inn Parking lot is poorly lit. No issues with check in or check out, but the check in area looked as if it was recently robbed. Everything was in disarray and it also looked to be in rough shape.
The room itself was clean when we arrived. However as notated the decor is bleak and room to room seems pieced together. For instance our table was cracked and wobbly. We had to full sizes bed as we were in town for business. The bed coverings were very dated and didn't express comfort. Our bathroom was clean, but had no vent.
The issue came when we had a knock on the door at 7am for Room cleaning. My business partner was not even out of bed, so I asked to them to comeback. No one returned. As we returned from our meeting - we still received no room cleaning or fresh bathroom linens. We promptly called the front desk and was told there was no one around for further cleaning. Before we could ask about linens, the desk attendant hung up.
Our group also had another room in this Inn. That room was a king. However it had no Microwave and Refrigerator. Also, the heater did not work appropriately.
Will not be staying at this location until it makes improvements. We travel to the area frequently and the price point isn't enough to keep us coming back.
I wish sites would quit calling this place a Days Inn. It is now a Road Trip Inn. Could cause some confusion for folks.
