I have to start by saying the staff here is so kind. Check-in was quick, and they were more than generous with giving out free chocolate chip cookies and menus to local restaurants when asked.
The price for this hotel is a bit steep, but I believe this is because it is right near a ski area and they market to tourists.
We stayed on the second floor, which opens directly onto the parking lot in the back, since the hotel is built into a hill. We had a king sized bed which was comfortable (although better pillows would have been nice, but it wasn't a huge deal).
There was quite a bit of remodeling going on in the lobby, and the kindness and efficiency of the staff helped us to remain comfortable, and they reimbursed me without questions when the soda machine ate my change. We did not have the breakfast just because we were enjoying sleeping in! At the time I stayed the lobby was a construction area, so they had turned a guestroom into a relaxation space for folks, and we took advantage of it while perusing local menus.
All in all it was a great stay, we were rejuvenated for the rest of our trip, and happy we stopped there.
