We booked a room at this hotel for 2 weeks and half way through our stay we realized that they had bed bugs. On our third day there my boyfriend noticed some red marks on his arms but we thought it was an allergic reaction. By the fifth day I also noticed red itchy marks on myself. Each day we noticed more of these marks on our bodies. On the eighth day we thought that maybe it was bed bugs so not knowing what they look like I checked it out online. There it tells you to look for shells because the bugs shed and the bugs themselves hid. I had my boyfriend pull up the matress and look around the bed frame and sure enough we found these shells. We packed our things and went to the office for a refund. The woman told us that they dont normally refund week stays and then told us we would have to pay for that night because the cleaning staff was gone for the day so they would not be able to clean and rent the room for that night. I told her she would not be able to rent the room anyway because they needed to take care of the bug problem first. She tried to put us in another room and have us pay her more money after telling us that there were no bugs because they had someone spray all the rooms so although there are shells there are no bugs. This just told me that they knew they had a problem but they were still renting these rooms. She finally argreed to give a refund on the 6 nights we had left on the stay but charged at a higher rate for the one day of the week that we actually stayed. I think she should've given us the full week refund because now we have disinfect our items to make sure we do not take these bugs back into our home and we had to buy anti itch cream for our bodies. I'm post this anywhere I can write a review because I would hate to see someone else have the same experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. We now know to search any room we stay in upon check in.
