Needed a hotel in this area for a weekend stay. The location was easy to find off the interstate (closer to the exit for Allen Rd) although there is some construction in the area which can make spotting the turn onto Alexander Springs Rd a little confusing.
Had a king "suite" which in budget hotels tends to be a small dividing wall between the sleeping area and an area with a couch. It was clean and large enough though so no issues. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Large bathroom. All in all, the room was very clean and the room was not worn in any respect.
Self-serve breakfast was included and was mostly cold foods with hot food options being prepackaged breakfast sandwiches you could heat up, make-your-own waffles or oatmeal. Only dislike with breakfast was that bowls, utensils and cups were disposable plastic.
The hotel appears to be on the newer side which is good and parking was plentiful and free although a car show in town the same weekend left nary a parking spot one night, but there was one left. Also the car show caused rates to be shockingly high for the area that weekend and that was a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, but most of the hotels in the area seemed to hike the prices up so it wasn't just this location. As the purpose of the trip was a graduation ceremony I had no choice as to the timing of the trip and it was bad luck that this was a peak weekend due to the car show.
There is a pool and an exercise room that looked reasonably equipped for this type of hotel but I didn't use it so I can't comment.
Right off the highway, but I didn't hear any highway noise.
Wireless is supposedly only in the lobby and common areas but as the room was on the 2nd floor I was able to pick up the WiFi signal. Otherwise, there is a wired connection so be prepared for that if your intention is to pick up the WiFi signal in your room with a mobile device or iPad. Laptops are obviously no issue with the Ethernet cable provided in the room.
Should be rated better than the #5 hotel, with my only dislike being the disposable plates, cups and utensils and also very small bath towels.
