For the past few years I have driven through this area four or five times, and I stay at this hotel every time. I found it on my first trip, and prefer to stick with it because it is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The bathrooms are very clean, and the shower curtains are spotless. The hotel is quiet, and the people who work there are friendly, too. They have a continental breakfast which is always good, and this time they had baskets of fresh fruit on the breakfast tables, which was a nice touch. I don't like to spend a lot on a hotel room, but I expect it to be clean. This hotel goes above and beyond most other hotels in their price range.

It is your basic hotel but it needs a lot of help. The location is just horrible. Right next door to a sewage treatment plant. I would love to meet the the person who thought this was a good idea. The second you get out of the car, you get the lovely sent of sewage. Thankfully it doesn't affect the rooms. The room was ok but the beds were a bit hard. The bathroom was dirty and the comforter had cigarette burns in it. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We've stayed in this hotel before b/c of the location. The staff were always nice...the one man used to hog the computer and 'free internet access" was a joke, b/c he was always on the computer, but I didn't see him this time around. There was no computer this time....
The worst part of this stay was we found a dead bedbug on the floor by the bed....I took all my luggage out and hardly got any sleep the whole night, as I was afraid there might be bugs crawling on me...but, the next morning, there was no evidence of live bugs, but I told the desk anyway, and they seemed genuinly concerned. They didn't offer any "help" with the problem though. I don't know if I want to stay there again, I'm paranoid about bedbugs.

I have been to Super 8 Motels in the past and they were pretty nice. I thought I would give the Canonsburg Pa Motel a try seeing how the website had it was a new motel with a new Super 8 look. This hotel was very dirty and still had Christmas lights around the top of the building and it's August already. At the side door of the motel it had two dirty mattresses that look like they actually had caught on fire. The room was very smelly and I saw a few blood spots on the bathroom floor along with food crumbs, so you know it hasn't been cleaned really well in a while. When I took a shower the next morning I found mold and dirt all over the back of the shower curtain. I told the front desk I was very displeased with the Motel and they really didn't seem to care. I really hope this motel gets cleaned up soon because it is in a really great location. I, however, spent the following night somewhere else.
