Stayed here recently using my Wyndham Rewards points instead of driving through Pittsburgh during rush hour for business reasons. Room was overall worn, but clean. There was molding falling down around the bathtub and deep cuts on the surface of the desk. Old tube style TV, but had a very large selection of 100+ TV channels. Fridge in the room along with a recliner, desk w/chair, two nightstands, and two large drawers. The room was very quiet despite being very close to the road. I did not hear anything all night, even with a full house. I also did not notice any foul odors. In fact the room and lobby area smelled strongly, but pleasantly of cleaner. Numerous restaurants, a short drive away.

Again, my room was comped through their rewards program, but I would say for the price it's not bad for budget lodging. You are less than 5 minutes from the casino, and with a rate about 30-40% cheaper than hotels at that immediate exit. Overall, a safe, clean choice for the price. Just do not expect the Ritz. It is a Super 8.

I was looking for a place to stay and pulled into the Super 8 parking lot. (Was kind of confusing to find though. Better road signs for out of towners would be nice.)

The woman working the desk wasn't very friendly. I caught her texting on her cell phone and I guess I interupted her messaging.

She acted shocked that I was inquiring about a room. (Isn't that one of the reasons why people go to the front desk?) She rudely said the only room available was smoking. I told her I don't smoke, but she just went back to her texting and didn't even offer a lower rate or anything. I probably wasn't going to stay anyway, but there was no attempt on her part at all.

I faced the same type of rude service at other places in the area. I guess poor customer service is common in southwest Penna.

My brother and I stayed here as part of a baseball road trip. Many of the hotels in Pittsburgh were booked so we stayed here as it was a good deal. It is a half hour drive from pittsburgh so that was a little longer than expected.

Bad things, the hallway smelled like someone smoked in it, and you could find some dead bugs behind curtains or the bathroom door. We also found some trash in one of the dresser drawers but that could be easily missed by the cleaners. Other than that, we really didn't have any issues and were happy with it.

A/C worked fine, beds were fine and clean. There was a free breakfast but it was mostly things you would find at a convenience store. We didn't mind that but it was a little unhealthier than expected. They also had cereal, orange juice, and some fruit. We checked in late at night and service was friendly and quick. We were incredibly excited to have a small refrigerator in our room, that was a blessing.

I would have no problem staying here again after our visit.

I have recently experimenting with Super 8 motels and have been very presently surprised, especially for the breakfast they provide for travelers that really helps in hitting the road. I have liked 98 % of Super 8's this however fell in the other 2% category. I have stayed in about 5 Super 8's and this one was definitely not worth it. I had booked it as I thought it will be cheaper - it was and not in a good way though. We paid $80 for a night.

This is the place that had a higher room rate and very bad breakfast option. We went out to Denny's eventually (nice place).

It is a decent and clean place for stop over, but not the usual Super 8 hospitality.
