Picked the perfect HIE for our weekend getaway. We were dismayed by the fees for parking at hotels in town (Pittsburgh) and with no specific agenda figured we would get more for our $$ out of town a bit. Our hunch was right, this place was great !! Easy drive and access from the interstate, CLEAN, neat, safe area and a great staff (thankyou Gail, Breakfast Staff). We definitely plan on returning here, it was easy to get in and out of the city plus gave us access to other areas (outlets, casino) without the traffic headaches. Coffee was available 24 hrs, plus there is a mini market right across the parking lot. If driving is not a problem, it is well worth the extra 10 minutes from town.

My wife and I stayed there with my brother-in-laws and his family and had a great time. Rooms were very clean, staff was great, and the breakfast was filling. I the only problem I had was getting comfortable in the bed. The others in my party had not complaints…..

Great Place but they really dont care if you are a Priority Club Member or not, so that was a little bit of a turn off... the whirlpool wasd great! pillows, GREAT! Matress, SUCKED. Thumbs down on the matress. Breakfast, always great. The staff...eh... iffy. Old TV, not flat screen. Oh, the most important thing.... I couldnt get the room dark! They had the white pull over thing that you couldnt see through but it was white. The heavier curtains on the outside didnt come in any farther to make the whole room dark. OHHH That was annoying. So, if you dont mind the bright sunlight of the day to wake you up, then this is the place for you, if not... well.... I would stay somewhere else.

We stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels whenever we travel because they are a good value and dependably good. This one was the worst we've been to. The room was small -- if you were sitting at the desk (located at the foot of the bed nearest the door/bathroom), nobody could walk by. And the bed was the worst I've slept in in a long time. The beds were small, with very hard mattresses, covered in something that resembled what you put on sheets when kids wet the beds. I didn't sleep a wink. The room was clean though.
