The motel owner was a very friendly and attentive individual and the motel is run as a family Christian run enterprise. The motel is a small older motel that has a retro-Americana feel from the 1950's, but is quiet, very clean, and a comfortable place to stop. The room we had was very large with two beds.
My wife and I also found the motel was a very pet friendly location that ACTUALLY had a large place to walk our large dog, unlike many motels/hotels.
The rate charged was less than other nearby more modern hotels, but without any real loss in quality.
NOTE: There are several other motels and hotels close to and in front of this gem of a motel, which should not be confused with this motel including a run down motel. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS during our multi-day stay and recommend this motel for tired families including those with pets travelling through the area.
The motel is within walking disstance and for those with disabilities and babies less than 2 minute driving distance of a McDonald's, Bob Evans, Perkins, Taco Bell, Sheetz gas station that makes hamburgers and sanwiches, a Wendy's and a few other places. We enjoyed the food at Bob Evans and sandwichs from the Sheetz gas station.
Strongly recommend, you buy gasoline elsewhere that this travel hub, as it is slightly higher, but this has no negative reflection on this motel.
Well worth the money.
Room Tip: The end rooms are best for those with a large dog.
