My children got tired while traveling to New Jersey so we decided to stop along the way and stay in a hotel. Our Expedia search showed mostly rates that simply were not in our traveling budget, so we chose the Countryside Inn & Suites. This turned out to be an independently owned hotel with no big chain attached. We were greeted at the desk by a friendly desk clerk who made sure we got everything we needed to make our unplanned stop a pleasant one. She gave us a menu to the resturant and offered to place our order by phone for us. She had reccomended a larger room, since there were 5 of us, called the family room, which has 2 queen size beds and a pull-out loveseat. It was perfect. Our room was simple, but very clean with a refridgerator and microwave, a nice TV and good internet service. The beds were comfortable and after a great meal of hot sandwiches and Homemade Ham and Bean Soup we all had a good nights sleep. In the morning, we all enjoyed a fine breakfast. This is a great hotel with a nice view of the surrounding mountains and area. The rate is exceptional considering the cost of the other hotels in the area. I think anyone who travels thru this part of Pa should stay here. The staff is superior and I assure you that they will see that you have everything you need.

Stayed here for 2 nights and my whole family had a great time. Nice friendly staff and convenient location. Terrific breakfast. Had one of the family rooms and found out that by making our reservation directly with the hotel I had saved about $15. The room was large, comfortable and clean. If you pass thru Breezewood, Pennsylvania this hotel is my recommendation.
