Victorian house, but room had old, uncomfortable contemporary style furniture. Bed was uncomfortable. Window air conditioner loud and ineffective. Hostess very rude. Breakfast small, bland, and ordinary. Better to stay at Allenberry or in Carlisle.

Stayed here to go skiing at SkiRoundtop. Nice people with spacious, clean room and bathroom. Only issue with room was uncomfortable bed. Breakfasts were creative and tasty. This was our first bed and breakfast experience, and we decided, to no fault of this place, that we're hotel people--staying in someone's house in a tiny town wasn't our thing. If you like bed and breakfasts, though, this one was great.

A great place to stay, the staff are friendly, the rooms clean & custom decor. the service is excellent. Would recommend this place to all.

I was a little concerned about staying here because of a bad review I read. I decided to take a chance and stayed here for four nights with my wife and two children. I found Lee and Kitty to be very accommodating and not rude in the slightest. The food was very good as well. We experienced no problems whatever.
