We really loved our stay here. We got a Living Social deal that included lots of extras to our 3-night stay. We soon found out, however, that the Greystone Manor already offers a number of great deals and that even without a living social deal (and under our tight grad school student budgets) we would still be able to afford a quite relaxing and comfortable vacation in Lancaster County again. Thus, we are already planning our return to Greystone Manor for the summer time!
We had room number #1, which we absolutely recommend. It is the only one in the first floor, feels very private, has an antique and beautiful bathtub, a really unique and spacious shower (two shower heads with really warm water!), as well as the most comfortable BB bed we have ever slept on. Really. We even considered asking the owners of the BB where they had gotten this bed because it felt even more comfortable than our fancy ikea bed at home. Really, you must go to the Greystone Manor. They gave us bikes each day (we biked all over dutch country and got to experience this farm land in a more intimate and paced way than we would've in a car!), delicious breakfast (though coffee could have been a bit stronger!), great recommendations and dinner vouchers for restaurants, breweries and wine tastings nearby. To top it all off, they gave us a wine and cheese platter (which we enjoyed with wine from the free wine tasting spot nearby), really great movies to watch on the day it snowed and we stayed in, and a vase with wild flowers to enjoy throughout our visit.
Angela, the manager and owner of the place was kind, informative and made sure to make a connection with all the guests in a truly genuine way. Alas, all great great things. What a fabulous and relaxing vacation. You won't regret staying here at all!
