My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. The hotel staff from making the RSVP directly to the hotel and the staff upon arriving at the hotel were very friendly. I do have a couple of complaints but overall we were really very pleased. Our room was on the 2nd floor. When we walked out of the stairwell onto the 2nd floor there was an overwhelming smell of paint fumes. We enter our room and the smell of paint was just as bad. It was around 30 degrees or so outside and our room was like an ice box because the heat was apparently shut off for some time because the room was so cold. So I turned that on. We left for the evening and returned hours later and the paint smell in the hall was still there but not near as bad in our room. So we stayed. The room...Was very clean. nice place. Very spacious. Bed was a little too firm for me but thats just me! Lots of soft pillows! Clean bathroom. We would stay here again.

This Holiday Inn really needs renovations. There was no fan in the bathroom.The timer to the light in the bathroom didn't work. The remote to the TV didn't work. I had to turn the coffeemaker on 3 times to get it to stay on and it auto-shut off after maybe 10 minutes. The beds weren't comfortable at all. At 4:30 in the AM, we were woken by someone in another room talking in their sleep. Every time someone down the hall closed their door, we could hear it in our room. The best part of the stay was our visit with Rita in the Bowties bar. She is wonderful and took excellent care of us. I would suggest staying at another motel in the area and going to the Holiday Inn for dinner and drinks.

This hotel is very out-dated in terms of decor and its looking very tired. The lobby looked good, but as you went down the hall, you tripped over the carpet that was bunching up. My in-laws booked a smoking room and boy did it smell like an ashtray. Even the hallway reeked of smoke. The rooms were appointed in a typical style, but again they showed signs of age. We stayed one night instead of 3 expected and moved about 7 miles down the road for 2/3 the price. Breakfast was not included, but there was a restaurant with exhorbinant prices.
