We have spent a lot of time traveling the entire Oregon coast over the last several years. Oregon House is the most beautiful location and has the nicest staff on the entire coast.

I have been coming to the Oregon House for 15 years and it is such a treat to find a hotel which gets better each year. Improvements are constantly made, the staff is so helpful and one can really feel how important it is to them that the guests are having a good time. Scenery magnificant, rooms cosy and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. Perfect getaway, would recommend for families, friends and collegues.

I would highly recommend Oregon House and found the room, view, atmosphere and grounds to be beautiful. The proprietor was kind and the atmosphere was serene.
There were no retreats during the time that we stayed however I feel the spirituality and personal search associated with these learnings can only enhance the atmosphere of openness and compassion in a place.
I am from the UK, travelling through Oregon to California with a good friend of mine from Seattle. We stumbled across Oregon House, it was a great find.

My first visit to the Oregon House was about 22 years ago after reading about it in the Best Places to Kiss in the Pacific Northwest. I've returned on an almost annual basis because I love the beach access and the fact that it isn't in town. Unfortunately over the course of the last couple of visits the place has seemingly become a detox center for grieving lesbians and center of the huki kukie crystal loving universe. In doing so it has completely lost its family friendly demeanor and has crossed over into the realm of colored light therapy (Ads in every room) and holistic healing road side attraction, that is unless your definition of holistic includes family interaction.

In closing I apologize to all of the people I have recommended visit the Oregon House over the last 22 years.
