If you want good value in a perfect location this is the place. It's not bang up-to-date with hi-tech extras, but offers plenty of space, a friendly welcome, and a well equipped kitchen. The amazing beach is a walk away and the gardens are large and lovely. Nearest restaurants and shops 8 miles away in Yachats but worth the drive.

Great room, great view, great walks on the beach, great chairs on the lawn to watch sunset.

This was one of the most beautiful settings we have stayed in on our vacations. My
husband I and another couple stayed two nights here on our vacation up the northwest
Pacific coast. The rooms were very nice and clean and the ocean views were outstanding!!! The walk on the beach was wonderful and the sound of the ocean waves
at night, would help anybody to sleep!!! You will need to bring food if you plan on staying
in the room and not going out to eat . The kitchens are well stocked with pots and pans
and dishes and silverware. We had an oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and toasteroven. We were in the Holly cottage. Thanks to all at Oregon House!!!

Oregon House is a hidden gem. The property is right on the ocean, yet it feels remote. The cliff overlooks miles of Pacific in 180 degrees. The sandy beach and rocky tide pools are a fresh adventure every day because tides are intense. There are a dozen distinct and memorable destinations within an hour's drive. Melita and Dave are always available and never intrusive. A meditative frame of mind is the natural one in this lovely environment.

When the valley has a hot summer day, the coast is cool and windy. It is an easy choice for us!
